1. What Are Cookies?
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how we use them, the types of cookies we use i.e, the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used, and how to control the cookie preferences. For further information on how we use, store, and keep your personal data secure, see our Privacy Policy.
You can at any time change or withdraw your consent from the Cookie Declaration on our website. Learn more about who we are, how you can contact us, and how we process personal data in our Privacy Policy.
Your consent applies to the following domains: edenrank.com
Cookies are small text files that are used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when the website is loaded on your browser. These cookies help us make the website function properly, make it more secure, provide better user experience, and understand how the website performs and to analyze what works and where it needs improvement.
2. How Do We Use Cookies?
EdenRank uses first-party cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, consent preferences, and first-party asset-path attribution. Optional third-party analytics cookies are disabled unless you allow analytics.
When allowed, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate website use and EdenRank's first-party product analytics records normalized page and key-action journeys. Google may process pseudonymous device and usage data under its own privacy terms.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Some cookies are essential for you to be able to experience the full functionality of our site. They maintain sessions, protect mutations, and preserve first-party attribution. Some essential values are identifiers and therefore are handled as personal data where law requires.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| authToken | User session management | Session or configured login duration |
| X-CSRF-TOKEN | Security protection | Session |
| refreshToken / er_asset_touch | Session renewal / first-party asset-path attribution | Up to 14 days / 30 days |
Performance and Analytics Cookies
If you allow analytics, these cookies collect pseudonymous information about website use, such as visited pages and interactions. We do not describe this data as anonymous.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics - distinguishes users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics - session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics - distinguishes users | 24 hours |
| er_pa_journey | Links consented sessions into one pseudonymous EdenRank journey | Up to 14 months |
| er_pa_session | Groups consented events into a visit | 30 minutes |
| er_analytics_consent | Makes the analytics preference available to first-party server routes | 1 year |
Browser Preference Storage
EdenRank stores the analytics choice under edenrank.analytics-consent.v1 in local browser storage and mirrors that choice in er_analytics_consent. Session traffic context may be kept in session storage after consent. The application may also retain interface state locally for usability. We do not currently set separate third-party functional cookies.
4. How Can I Control the Cookie Preferences?
You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" control in the website footer. Withdrawing consent disables Google Analytics, stops first-party behavioral collection, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies, and deletes the first-party journey/session cookies on this domain. EdenRank also clears the encrypted Google Analytics client join used only for consented, server-confirmed payment attribution.
In addition to this, different browsers provide different methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can change the settings of your browser to block/delete the cookies. To find out more about how to manage and delete cookies, visit wikipedia.org, www.allaboutcookies.org.
